Early 1990’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Day Date 25572ST ‘The Owl’
What We Love
The first Royal Oak to feature calendar complications beyond the classic aperture date display and the first example we’ve had the pleasure of offering. Produced between 1983 and 1998, only 1,770 examples were made, with approximately one-third cased in steel. This watch retains its original dial, preserved in near-perfect condition, alongside its original tritium handset, equally well preserved. The case and bracelet have recently been professionally refinished (by a previous owner), leaving them virtually unmarked with razor-sharp edges, perfectly maintained proportions, and bezel screws sitting correctly beneath the bezel surface. The bracelet remains long with little stretch, allowing the watch to stand upright when placed clasp-down, and it retains its original clasp.
What You Should Know
Presented in wonderful overall condition with only very light hairlines from wear. Watch only.
