Frequently asked questions and our terms and conditions.

  • All watches are listed and paid for in Pounds Sterling (GBP) via bank transfer. Once your payment clears with our bank (usually within 24–48 hours), we’ll ship your watch right away.

Refunds are also issued in Pounds Sterling only. Please note that we can’t take responsibility for any exchange rate changes that might affect refunds if you’re outside the UK.

  • Once we receive your payment, your watch will be shipped fully insured through one of our trusted courier partners. The choice of courier is up to us, and all shipments are declared at their full sale value in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

We can’t be held responsible for any delivery delays caused by events outside our control.

  • International buyers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs fees that may apply. The buyer takes all responsibility for shipping in the event of a customs issue or return.

  • If you haven’t seen the item in person, you can return it within 14 days of the delivery date shown by the courier. Once you’ve told us you’d like to return it, you’ll have another 14 days to send it back.

Returns are only accepted if the item is completely unused and in the same condition as when it was sent. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if these conditions aren’t met.

Purchaser is responsible for any and all charges, taxes or customs duties that might be associated with returning your watch. Purchaser also assumes all risk and cost (including currency conversion) when returning watch. Please contact us via email to authorise the return.

In-person sales are final and may not be returned including collection via 3rd party on behalf of the purchaser.

  • Once we’ve received your return, we’ll carefully inspect the item. If everything’s in the same condition as when it was sent, we’ll issue a full refund, minus the shipping and insurance costs included in the original sale.

  • Watches from WBLDN come with a 12-month in-house warranty starting from the date on your invoice. This doesn’t apply to watches that are still covered by the manufacturer’s original or service warranty. Some watches may also come with a complimentary manufacturer service within the first 12 months—if so, it’ll be clearly stated in the listing.

Watches from ‘Trade Stand’ do not come with a mechanical warranty and are sold as is.

Given the age of the watches we sell, we cannot guarantee that the watch will comply with the expected tolerances for timekeeping or that it will be suitable for use in wet environments or complete water submersion.

Our limited in-house warranty covers abnormal timekeeping outside of our set tolerances (+/-35 seconds, Amplitude >220°, Power Reserve 24hrs). Battery replacement is also covered.

This warranty does not cover the exterior of the watch including the crystal, case, bracelets, bezel, straps, crown, etc. It also does not cover wear and tear (including dropping the watch) or water damage.

The warranty is non-transferable and only valid to the original purchaser. The warranty is void if the watch or movement is tampered with or exposed by an unauthorised party.

Where you have a valid claim against our warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair the watch.

We have absolute discretion as to the acceptance of any claim against the warranty. In the event of a dispute, we reserve the right to instruct an independent third-party watchmaker nominated by us to determine the appropriate course of action, though are under no obligation to do so. The decision of the independent, third-party watchmaker will be binding on both parties.

You are responsible for any and all charges, taxes or customs duties that might be associated with returning your watch to us and our subsequent return of the Watch to you.

  • We guarantee every watch we sell is authentic and exactly as described. We do our best to give an honest and accurate description of each watch’s condition and how it’s running. All parts are considered original and authentic unless stated otherwise. Please note, due to the nature of vintage watches, we can’t guarantee water resistance.

  • No information you provide on the website or to Watch Brothers London in person, over the phone or in any digital format will ever be sold to a third party. Our website does use cookies to track data about visitors, however is not personally identifiable.

  • Watch Brothers London is a trading name of Watch Brothers London Limited, whose registered office is at Waynflete House, 139 Eastgate, Louth, United Kingdom, LN11 9QQ, registered in England & Wales under company registration number 08501747.

  • At our discretion we may offer a complimentary manufacturer service with a watch, when this is the case it will be explicitly called out in the listing description. This service will be redeemable anytime within the first 12 months of purchase and in replacement of our standard 1 year warranty. This covers the base mechanical service work only, up to the value of 2,000GBP. Any parts, aesthetic changes or extras are at the cost of the buyer.

  • Some of our watches are imported into the UK using the Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA) scheme.

If that’s the case, the listing will say “Price excludes 20% VAT for UK buyers.”

This means the price you see doesn’t include UK tax. If the watch is delivered to or picked up in the UK, a 20% VAT will be added at checkout. If it’s shipped outside the UK, you’ll be responsible for any local taxes or import fees on your end.
