Circa 1995 Blancpain 5585 with Cert of Authenticity and 2022 Service

Blancpain didn’t slow down after the curation of the Six Masterpiece Collection, they began to compose limited runs of combined complications, the ref. 5585 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph being one of them. Great writeup on this model can be found here.
With only 400 pieces made across all metals this rose gold example is a rare beast, engraved with production No. 7 on the case back. The case is in superb condition, there are hairlines from use but overall very strong with hallmarks deep and crisp. 34mm case with 40mm lug to lug proportions.
The dial is a gold/creamy tone that shimmers in the light, there is patina developing around some of the Roman hour markers, most prominent on the 4 o’clock (although still extremely hard to capture on camera, I’ve tried below).
The original tritium handset has turned a very creamy tone and the watch is fitted to a superb ‘A Collected Man’ strap and features the original rose gold pin buckle.
The watch has just returned from a Blancpain service and comes with a 2 year international warranty. There is also a Certificate of Authenticity included from Blancpain. Overall an incredible watch and complication for the money, in our opinion of course! Enjoy!
