What We Love

This is one of our all-time favourite watches, offering a rare combination of history, striking aesthetics, craftsmanship and wearability. It is the complete package.

The case has developed a rich, rosy patina over time, giving it an appearance remarkably close to rose gold, while remaining beautifully preserved. The hallmarks and engravings are all deep, crisp, and clearly defined. The movement, visible from both the front and back, is extensively hand-engraved and skeletonised, an extraordinary display of traditional watchmaking that transforms the watch into a true work of art on the wrist.

The dial remains in outstanding condition showing no signs of wear, the sub-dials a beautiful creamy tone that complements the warmth of the case perfectly.

Accompanying the watch are its original pin buckle, presentation box, blank paperwork, and an AP Archive Extract. With only 94 examples produced of this reference, it remains one of the rarer references and one we are always delighted to have in stock.

What You Should Know

Light hairlines from use across the watch. AP extract doesn’t mention production date however we believe circa 90. This watch right now is roughly the same price as a 3rd series 3940… interesting comparison.
