This Platinum Lange 1 ‘Stealth’ carries some serious presence, from the tone changing dial to the heft on the wrist this thing screams quality and I’ve enjoyed every second of it.
The case is in fantastic condition with engravings/hallmarks crisp and deep. There are minor hairlines but no major dings to report. The watch feels extremely ‘solid’, and you can feel the quality when turning the crown or pressing the date function.
The dial is a highlight for me. The color is hard to explain with the tone changing depending on the angle or light with a lovely shimmer flowing across the entire surface. The aesthetically pleasing layout is of course well documented and the condition here is near perfect.
The case-back offers a window to the high finishing of the movement, complemented wonderfully by the surrounding case engravings, crisp and precise.
The watch is accompanied with its ALS platinum pin buckle, boxset and original paperwork. The watch was returned form service in 2021. A wonderful set and I’m excited to see where it lands.
