Limited to 300 pieces for the 30th anniversary of the Lange 1 makes this is a pretty special one and we’re lucky to have a full set example in hand to share.
The dial is the highlight here. Solid onyx, polished to a crazy mirror-like finish with that deep jet black tone. In the right light it almost looks like glass. Movement finishing is everything you’d expect from Lange, top tier, but honestly this one is all about the dial.
Case is unpolished with really sharp edges, thick lugs, and nice original factory finish throughout. Comes with its original Lange black strap (not shown), Lange pin buckle, plus full box and papers.
For me this variant, whether in the Lange 1 or Little Lange 1, is a massive standout from the brand and the Lange 1 family, the one to have from the modern catalog.
What You Should Know
38/38.5mm case size although wears better than I expected on my 17cm wrist. My preference is still the Little Lange 1 for my wrist but it works well. The outer box has a tear in one corner. Very minor hairlines from use.
