What We Love
It’s not an ‘early’ Lange but it sure is attractive! The Little Lange 1 is one of my favourite ranges, especially when they start playing around with different dial designs, and this is exactly the sort of thing I love.
The dial is the star of the show. The guilloché pattern is gorgeous, the grey tone works perfectly with the white gold case, and it changes nicely depending on the light. The dial is immaculate, while the case has been kept in lovely shape with crisp hallmarks, deep engravings and sharp edges throughout.
At 36/7mm it wears spot on for me on a 17cm wrist. For anyone who enjoys slightly smaller watches, I think this is the sweet spot in the Lange lineup. It comes with its original white gold pin buckle, box set, paperwork and pin pusher.
It’s a modern watch, but it has loads of charm and more than enough personality to keep me interested.
What You Should Know
Light wear across the case in the form of the usual hairlines from use, nothing of note or out of the ordinary. The original strap is included (not pictured), and I’ll also have a custom strap made for the buyer if they’d prefer something different. I know these aren’t the early Little Lange 1’s that most collectors chase, but honestly… who cares when they look this good?
