What We Love
One of our favourite Breguet references, combining the tourbillon, skeletonisation and some very impressive hand finishing.
Introduced in the early 1990s, the reference 3355 completely opens up Breguet’s tourbillon architecture, exposing the manually wound calibre 558 SQ1 and one-minute tourbillon at 6 o’clock. The movement is extensively skeletonised and hand engraved, with beautifully finished bevels and sharp angles throughout. The same reference was made all the way up until 2025 with last know retail around 165k GBP.
At 36mm in platinum, the proportions are just how we like them! You still get all the traditional Breguet details, straight lugs, fluted case side and classic proportions while the openwork movement gives it far more presence on the wrist.
This example presents in very good condition throughout. The platinum case remains strong and well defined. The lugs are thick, the hallmarks and case engravings remain deep and clearly defined, exactly what we like to see on our watches.
The watch is accompanied by its Breguet papers dated 2017 and retains its original Breguet platinum deployant clasp.
For us, the 3355 is a brilliant combination of traditional Breguet design and serious high watchmaking, with the skeletonised execution making it something very special in person + you know we LOVE openwork!
What You Should Know
The case and lugs show hairlines and minor surface marks from normal wear, consistent with careful use. Scratches around the lugs from previous strap changes, very common on neo vintage Breguet.
