What I love — Incredibly vibrant dial from Ulysse Nardin, created by Donzé Cadran the famed enamel dial makers. The dial construction is extremely interesting, gold wiring used to form the shapes with powdered enamel sitting atop the asymmetric gratte textured dial. Finally a layer of transparent ‘fondant’ is applied on top of the enamel, up to the depth of the gold wiring, gold print to finish. The dial is in perfect condition.
The rose gold case is razor sharp, engravings deep and case back crisp. The watch comes complete set with everything from new including all paperwork and COSC certificate.
These watches still offer tremendous value vs modern creations of similar (or less) quality in the art of enamelling, to be transparent if the logo on the dial was different it wouldn’t be a stretch for this watch to cost 10x.
