The first white gold 3800 we’ve had the privilege to own, and it makes an immediate impression. The added weight is noticeable, yet remains perfectly balanced on the wrist thanks to the thin, refined bracelet links.
The case and bracelet are in outstanding condition, retaining sharp lines and correct factory finishes throughout. A Patek Philippe service sticker remains on the caseback, and it’s highly likely the watch was polished by the manufacturer at that time, the quality of the work speaks for itself.
The dial is flawless, complemented by the correct date wheel for its production year. The clasp shows a crisp, well-defined PP logo, and the bracelet is exceptionally tight, allowing the watch to stand upright when resting on its clasp.
What You Should Know
Hands are later service additions, very common practice for the 3800 model. Comes with archive extract and will fit up to 18cm wrist. Very very minor hairlines from use (just ones I’ve put in the watch!).
