What We Love

An exceptional example of one of our favourite models, showcasing a vibrant dial crafted by the renowned enamel specialists at Donzé Cadran. This particular piece stands out for three compelling reasons: the rare “0/10” marking on the dial (something we have not encountered before), the platinum case, produced in significantly smaller numbers than its counterparts, and the fact that it is offered complete with its original box set and blank paperwork.

The condition is superb throughout. The platinum case remains excellent, with sharp, well-defined lugs and a crisp, intricately detailed caseback. The dial is equally impressive, showing no signs of wear and preserved in immaculate condition.

Its construction is especially fascinating. Fine gold wiring is used to form the dial’s shapes, with powdered enamel carefully applied atop an asymmetric gratté textured base. A final layer of transparent “fondant” enamel is then added, built up to the height of the gold wiring, before being finished with gold printing. The result is a dial of remarkable depth and vibrancy.

The watch is accompanied by its original platinum pin buckle and is offered as a complete set from new.

What You Should Know

Small scuff on the bezel at 11 o’clock position. Light hairlines from wear.
