What We Love

One of the most historically important and ultra–high complication watches ever produced by Gérald Genta himself. This watch represents the purest expression of Genta’s design language and technical vision, making even his most celebrated creations for well-known brands feel almost restrained by comparison.

Produced over a very short window, with only a handful ever appearing on the market, often each with subtle design variations, these watches epitomize early independent watchmaking, exceptional hand-finishing, and uncompromising technical prowess.

The movement, by Pierre Michel Golay, features dual Geneva Seals: one for the perpetual calendar and one for the minute repeater. It is fully hand-engraved and housed within a waterproof case (though we strongly recommend not testing that).

The case is instantly recognizable yet notably smaller than expected for such a complex watch, wearing surprisingly petite on the wrist. The iconic bracelet shows very little wear, the case engravings remain crisp, and the repeater chimes beautifully.

Overall, an exceptionally rare and polarizing watch and one I personally love.

What You Should Know

The watch exhibits a deep purple patina throughout, along with light hairline marks consistent with use. The bracelet features removable pins and will fit wrists up to approximately 18.5 cm.
