1990's Blancpain Rattrapante Split Second Chronograph MOP 1186
Proud to offer this rare and complicated Blancpain Rattrapante from the 90’s.
The case is in unpolished conditions and starting to take on a rosey patina in areas. There is very little wear with only minor hairlines to report, edges/hallmarks and engravings are sharp and crisp like the day it left the factory.
Besides the complication the dial is the visual highlight here, this 1186 features a rare ‘Mother Of Pearl’ dial in mint condition (no cracks or scratches) with the original tritium handset preserved perfectly. A rare example of a truly wonderful complication from Biver and Piguet’s Blancpain 90’s rebirth.
