What We love — Rare and early example of of one of the most charming designs from Roth Era Breguet. The day-date moonphase is practical but also very beautiful with its clear and symmetrical layout. Powered by the ultra-thin automatic caliber 502 it wears incredibly thin on the wrist and perfectly proportioned at 36mm. This example is in lovely condition with delightful and colorful patina developing across the case. The original SWISS only cream dial is preserved well with the striking guilloche patterning. The caseback still proudly displays its french double owl import hallmarks. Original Breguet pin buckle accompanies the watch. The amazing team at Breguet confirmed the watch was sold in April 1989 in Bahrain.
What You Should Know — Some light hairlines from use. The engravings and guilloche on caseback are crisp and clear, the hallmarks show polishing, I would presume they were stamped more shallow. Small dial discoloration to the right of 29 on the moonphase indicator and towards the right side of the dial.
