What I love — Beyer has a deep connection to Patek Philippe and especially the reference 3940, with the very first 25 examples exclusively sold through their boutique, all individually numbered and signed Beyer on the dial.
After these initial 25 examples it is extremely uncommon to find a double signed 3940, let alone from the trusted custodian ‘Beyer’ themselves. This watch comes with Archive Extracts from both Beyer and Patek Philippe plus you can see the Beyer inventory number inscribed in the back of the lug (see pic), details matter!
I’m extremely excited to offer this watch for sale with the 3940 being a model I’ve been passionate about since the beginning of WBLDN, this one might be the most special to date. The overall condition is very good with the early 2nd series dial in near perfect condition. The case is well preserved and the hallmarks on the side are present (not perfect). The watch comes fitted to its original pin buckle and quite honestly feels ridiculously special strapped to the wrist. I know this watch will be well loved wherever it ends up.
What you should know — The hallmarks on the case side are still present but show some wear from use and polishing. Typical light wear across the watch from use.
