What I love — A rarely seen steel Oak, with just 201 units sold according to the AP Chronicles website. The (1)4332 is a beautifully proportioned midsize model produced for only a short period during the 1980s. It features many desirable vintage elements such as a deep black dial and small logo font. The watch retains all original parts, rare for an Oak from this period, including the tritium dial, handset, unsigned crown, and bracelet. The bracelet is a good length, fitting up to an 18.5 cm wrist, and shows minimal stretch; the watch stands upright when placed clasp-down. Interestingly, the underside AP-signed links are still present, a nice detail as they are often lost or removed. The case and bracelet remain sharp, and the dial is near-perfect. Overall, a wonderful neo-vintage alternative to today’s saturated modern Oak market. Watch accompanied by AP box and AP Archive Extract from 2025.
What you should know — Above the “E” in Piguet there is a tiny bit of gold color visible, likely a small mark from past servicing. Three of the bezel screw heads show marks from previous disassembly. The original tritium handset shows minor wear. 36mm case.
