What I love — A recent discovery for me. Waldan was a key player behind the El Primero chronograph rebirth of the 80’s, you can read all about it here, and how he helped the likes of Ebel and Rolex adopt the caliber. The watch listed here was made for Tiffany & Co, he also produced pieces for Tourneau, Ulysse Nardin and others plus some under his own name.
The watch wears and feels very much from the 80’s, lovey case details such as the stepped lugs and many interest points on the dial. The case is in great shape with hallmarks and serial visible on the back. There is a rosey patina heavily developing across the case. The dial shows very little wear and has a lovely textured matte finish. The contrasting day/months apertures pop wonderfully and the applied numbers glisten on the dial.
What you should know — I have added a pin buckle however it is not the original, watch came to me head only. Just normal light wear from use across the case, some scratches on the back of the lugs from previous strap changes.
