What I love — A truly magical configuration, I’ve been SO excited for this one to return from Blancpain service. The watch features a beautiful pearl dial with exceptional fire in the sunlight and is damage free. The case was lightly polished at service, I requested it not be, however looks great so no complaints here. The caseback engravings are deep and crisp showing the serial and hallmarks.
Looking at the diamond set bracelet, it was made by the famed bracelet manufacturer, Gay Frères. The bracelet has removable pins and fits up to an 18,5cm wrist. There is little stretch in the links with the watch head sitting upright when placed clasp down, the diamonds in the centre links are a real eye catcher!
What you should know — The handset has been changed at service, again not my decision but luckily they are NOS tritium period correct so there is a silver lining. Finally it is very much worth noting that this is the only ref. 5395 I’ve ever seen in this configuration with the MOP dial and diamond setting, I am obsessed with it! The watch comes with Blancpain's own 2yr international warranty and extract document.
