What I love — Sold in Manchester Dec 1986, this watch comes with its original purchase docs from Mappin & Webb. I worked with Pendulum Lab in Pisa to restore the case/bracelet and bezel as the watch was a little tired and to be honest I just really fancied a razor sharp example. I have to say the results are absolutely outrageous and I’m over the moon white how it looks and wears The Daytona font is bright, I love the sunburst dial and the bracelet / clasp / end links and bezel all correct for the year.
What you should know — Hands are tritium but service examples. The pushers highly likely service with the watch being 1979, watch has the last variant of pusher with the indented line. Finally plot 3 is missing, 9 and 2 has partial lume loss.
