What I love — Solid 18ct yellow gold, fully loaded with diamonds, offering exceptional value for the eccentric (and brave?) collector! Sarcar was/is a small yet punchy brand known for its individual and ostentatious design especially in the late 70’s. The brand was founded by Carlos Sarzano, the first 3 letters of his name forming the brand name ‘Car’ ‘Sar’ in reverse. The hallmarks on the watch are deep and crisp, placed at the top and bottom of the case and on the bracelet clasp.

The highly skeletonized movement showcases the incredible and intricate hand-engraving work, not something commonly seen in todays modern offerings. The base caliber, Frederic Piguet cal. 71, is shared across a number of powerhouses from this era including Breguet Perpetual Calendar ft. off-center rotor.

Across the bezel on the case and throughout the links you'll find carefully set diamonds, bright and clear, they really give this watch another dimension, especially in the sunlight. This watch is not your 9-5 office piece (although I hope it could be) however more a piece of art on the wrist from a bygone era of eccentricity and opulence.

What you should know — Bracelet length fits up to 18cm wrist. Fully serviced and ready to roll.
